Step 2: Click to Place

Click anywhere on the document where you want the field to appear.

Step 3: Resize if Needed

Drag the corners of the field to resize it. Click and drag to move it.

Step 4: Assign to Signer

If you have multiple signers, select which party should fill each field.

Multiple Signers

When you have multiple people signing the same document:

  • Each signer is assigned a color (e.g., blue, green, orange)
  • Fields are color-coded to show who needs to fill them
  • Each signer only sees their own required fields
  • The document is complete when all parties have signed

Required vs Optional Fields

Required Fields

Signers cannot complete the document without filling these. Use for signatures and essential information.

Optional Fields

Signers can skip these if not applicable. Use for additional notes or optional information.

💡 Pro Tips

  • Place signature at the end: Traditional placement that signers expect.
  • Add a date field: Always include a date next to signatures.
  • Use initials for pages: For long documents, add initials to each page.
  • Make fields large enough: Especially for signatures on mobile devices.
  • Label clearly: Use field labels so signers know what to enter.
